Perfecting your Pitch

Sometimes,  fate conspires to give you a rare opportunity to talk to an influencer about  your research idea or plans. For when  this happens, you will want to be prepared to dazzle them with your brilliant  intellect and creative thinking! One,  good pitch may lead to a new, cutting-edge research project or progress an  existing one! Unfortunately, many  academics struggle with pitching their ideas in a brief but appealing way,  instead falling into traps like being long-winded or digging too deeply into  technical details. In this session,  hosted by our very own Entrepreneurship expert Dr MK Ward, we will watch up to  10 members of FOWI each deliver their three-minute pitches, providing feedback to them as we go!
