About the Event

I will present basic and applied  research from the Physical Activity and Well-Being (PAW) Lab at the School of  Psychology at Curtin University. The aim of this line of research is to show  how motivational factors are experimentally manipulated in lab and community  settings to guide effective goal striving, and improve health behaviours,  work-related outcomes, and psychological well-being. I will present research  in work settings but also with diverse community groups. I will also propose  ideas for collaboration with FOWI staff, and I would be keen to hear thoughts  and suggestions from FOWI staff about possible collaborations in terms of  grant applications, papers, and student supervision.
