About the Event
Mature workers in organisations:
challenges and opportunities for research and practice
Please join us for an afternoon tea event where we will introduce our exciting research on “Mature Workers in Organisations” to representatives of industry and governmental bodies.
In 2018, CTWD in partnership with University of Sydney, has launched a new long-term research project aimed at supporting organisations in navigating the challenges associated with a maturing workforce. This research is conducted as part of a Centre for Excellence in Population Ageing Research (CEPAR) – a unique collaboration between academia, government and industry, committed to delivering solutions to one of the major economic and social challenges of the 21st century – population ageing.
This event is a unique opportunity to meet the extended research team from CTWD and University of Sydney, and to hear from our chief investigators, Australian Research Council Laureate Fellow, Professor Sharon K. Parker, and Professor of Gender and Employment Relations, Dr. Marian Baird who in 2018 was named in Apolitical's Top 100 Most Influential People in Gender Equality list. It is also an opportunity for you to share practical insights into the challenges associated with an increasingly mature workforce and have an input into the research we will conduct in this area. Last but not least, we will aim to start exploring the exciting collaboration opportunities provided by this new research.
Please feel free to forward this invitation to anyone you know who might be interested in attending.
