About the Event

Systematic literature reviews, as well as systematic approaches to searching, are now becoming more common in the field of business research. This involves a more rigorous approach to the searching and the reporting of search strategies so that results generated for literature reviews can be replicated. The session will highlight some of the systematic review techniques used in the health sciences as well as discussing approaches to effective searching. Kitty and Diana will use a topic provided by FOWI researchers to showcase search techniques and share tips for capturing search strategies and databases used in developing a systematic literature review.

Preparation from audience: If possible, we would like attendees to consider the following:

• What are the questions or challenges you have experienced in preparing systematic literature reviews?

• What other kinds of research are you doing?

• What databases are you currently using?
