About the Event

As the new millennium unfolds,  several disruptive challenges have emerged that suggest that we are heading  for a major paradigm shift. These challenges are so prominent that they  permeate almost every discussion, even casual conversations, we have –  intelligent technology, work-life imbalance and instability, climate change,  etc. In this talk, I reflect upon how these challenges have impacted my  practice, in research, design and education. The talk will end with the  dilemma in architecture – while we are the primary designers of the built  environment, we are little engaged with the research that informs what the  built environment ought to be.
