The Future of Work Institute (FOWI) invites you to the first Masterclass of the Thrive at Work Masterclass series. Thrive at Work is a world-leading wellbeing initiative centred on designing work that helps employees, organisations and industry to thrive.


The Thrive at Work initiative is based upon an integrated, evidence-based framework and underpinned by decades of research on work design. The framework explains how we can support people in workplaces get well (mitigate illness), stay well (prevent illness) and be the best they can be (promote thriving). TheThrive at Work website provides evidence-based tools and resources to support organisations create mentally healthy workplaces.


In this three-hour session, Karina Jorritsma, Professor of Practice at FOWI will cover the following:


• The evidence-base behind the Thrive at Work framework; • A methodology for evaluating your organisation’s current state against the Thrive at Work framework; • Guidance in developing a mental health and wellbeing strategy and action plan that addresses opportunity areas highlighted in the current state evaluation; • Considerations for tracking the success of the strategy and action plan over time.
